Since as far back as I can remember I was drawn to high risk situations and I knew that I had to get involved. Reporting was the obvious answer. I want to shine a spot light on what is really happening in the world. With that in mind, my career goals are to be an Investigate Journalist
I am a multimedia journalist at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. A Phoenix, AZ native, I went to Horizon High School. At the age of 19, I moved to Portland, OR were I worked for the Fund for the Public Interest for several years before I enrolled in Portland Community College. From there I transferred to Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, AZ where I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. With the AA degree I was accepted to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where I am currently enrolled today. As I'm attending school, my focus is to take advantage of every opportunity available to me that this great school provides. So far, I've had the opportunity to work as a videographer and journalist for the State Press, I have volunteered for Cronkite News, and I have written and produced weekly news updates for the Blaze radio. |
